Dead man Dave - walking!

Dead man Dave -  walking !

Would anyone dispute, that Tory supporters have good cause to have grown weary of the man they chose as party leader,  even before he announced today,  with impeccable timing,  that he wouldn’t be seeking  a third term in office  ?
Five years of going nowhere but backwards, would not be an unfair description of David Cameron’s last five years, would it ?
Lets start by picking the highlights from his Prime Ministerial term,  and drawing up that list will take us all of five seconds, there simply aren’t any,  and the Tory electorate know this, and are angry.
And should we bear in mind, that in the course of his journey to nowhere he has acquired an unenviable reputation for untruthfulness ( even by Prime Ministerial standards ) ?
His cast iron guarantee of a referendum was not forthcoming and he added insult to injury, by making an unconvincing commitment to holding one sometime late in 2017.
He then embarked on a clearly futile attempt to convince us, that he : could/would,  re-negotiate the terms of our EU membership, making no reference to the fact that we have never legally been members of it, as we actually joined a trading agreement in 1973, called the E.E.C. - commonly referred to as the Common Market.
He then proceeded to score the own goal of the century, by inviting Angela Merkel to Westminster to endorse his strategy , only to have her blow him clean out of the water, in full view of the world, by declaring unequivocally that she had no intention of supporting him.
His naivety in thinking that those (and their successors) who conceived and nurtured the incipient, essentially corrupt, E.U. and coerced Edward Heath into committing treason (in order to subvert British sovereignty ) would allow someone of his calibre to upset their lucrative applecart, should be enough to ensure that he will not be called for a third term – or maybe even a second .
So what have the Conservatives – Actually Conserved ?

Our democracy ?    no, that’s gone like our sovereignty to Brussels
Our major assets ?  no,  all now foreign owned.
Our money,   no that’s gone to Brussels also, or is owed to the worlds money lenders,  via a National Debt which his Chancellor has increased by 50%.
He has nothing to offer, or it would have been offered earlier, but in previous General Elections, the National Propaganda Service : ( B.B.C and Press )  has managed to deliver broadly what Lib Lab Con asked for, they can’t guarantee that anymore.
